Jen, Myself, Lydia and the NICCU

As some of you know we have had a trying pregnancy and a really trying month or so. Jen is doing ok in the hospital but they are having to watch her closely. She has a condition called preaclamsia (sp) and at any point depending on her labs and blood pressure they will need to deliver the baby. Our baby is a girl and we are naming her Lydia. We are taking it day by day and Jen is feeling rough a lot and good some. We are grateful for a baby that should be normal healthwise in time. A doctor Tuesday night gave us a tour of the NICCU and say Lydia could be there 5 to 6 weeks depending on when she is born. They are trying to leave the baby in Jen as long as they can. They are now hoping to make it to 32 weeks which is a week from today. Jen's due date is actually Christmas eve. Jen has to stay in the hospital for the duration of the pregnancy and some after. This may or may not be much longer. Anyway, I am thankful for the blessing of a daughter, but I also want my wife, Jen, to feel better. Keep praying and thank you for all your prayers so far. Much Love, -Chad-

  1. I have been where you guys are today. Believe me, it's not easy. But the reward is fantastic. My big by is now 8 years old. I had High Blood Pressure and Diabetes. To top it off, Placenta Previa. He stayed in 4 weeks. God will not take you where he knows your not strong enough to handle it. Yo guys are very strong. I admire your love for one another. Be there through it all. She needs you. Lydia will be fine, God has her wrapped in his arms. She willbe out of Niccu in 2 weeks tops. I trust in the lord and I know you do. I love you guys. If you need me, call me.
